The Passing of Mitch Weiss

Yesterday, at the annual IASCA meeting, amongst other topics, the passing of IASCA hall of famer Mitch Weiss came up. He passed away in early December 2023. We held a moment of silence totaling 64 seconds. IASCA mourns the passing of this Iowa Chess legend. The 6-time state champion's obituary can be found here: Mitchell J.
